The PentaFlush® pre-filled saline syringe is a ready-to-use medical device engineered to improve patient safety and clinical workflows. Manufactured in Italy by PentaFerte (a Numantec Group company), each single-use syringe comes pre-filled with 0.9% NaCl saline solution to effectively flush intravenous lines, central venous catheters (CVCs), and PICC lines. By eliminating the manual steps required to draw saline from multi-dose containers, PentaFlush minimizes human error, prevents accidental needlestick injuries, and significantly reduces the risk of catheter-related bloodstream infections (CRBSIs).

• Enhanced Patient Safety: Completely free of latex, DEHP, PVC, and preservatives, the syringes feature a standardized 10 mL barrel diameter for smaller volumes (3 mL and 5 mL) to minimize internal injection pressure and prevent catheter damage.

• Clinical Efficiency: Syringe and fluid path are sterile and suitable for sterile field. In addition, for greater patient safety, the syringe can be used in routine flushing procedures in the ward, where aseptic technique is not required.

• Optimized for Procedure Packs: Available in aluminium blister packaging that withstands specialized sterilization processes, making it perfectly suited for seamless inclusion in customized surgical kits, central line carts, and procedure trays.
