Infutech was founded in 2007 with a clear, clinical mission: to design and develop specialized, needle-safe subcutaneous infusion systems. Created to meet strict safety legislation, our signature Saflo™ range was engineered alongside world-class design and manufacturing experts.

 

Over nearly two decades, these passive sharps-safety devices drove innovation across this category and became widely trusted across the UK and Europe, providing safety, comfort, and clinical convenience across oncology, pain relief, and palliative care therapies.

Our foundation was built on technical innovation, precise engineering, and an unyielding commitment to protecting both patients and frontline healthcare professionals.

A New Chapter in Global Distribution

In 2024, our trajectory evolved. To scale our innovations globally, we sold the international rights for our Saflo™ range to Numantec, transitioning into their exclusive UK Saflo™ distribution partner.

 

Numantec is a specialist, highly scaled Italian manufacturing group operating five production sites in Italy, alongside operations in Germany and the USA. This partnership allows Infutech to combine nearly 20 years of homegrown technical and clinical expertise with massive manufacturing scale.

 

Today, we supply a comprehensive range of high-quality, passive safety catheters, including IV, Arterial, and Subcutaneous devices, directly through the NHS Supply Chain framework, ensuring a resilient, high-volume supply of safety-critical devices to UK hospitals.
